Following a successful pitch, Teviot were creating an ad campaign for ESPC, a market-leading property firm in East Central Scotland. The campaign’s aim was to strengthen the brand’s reputation among first time buyers, as well as increase awareness of a new exclusive feature. In addition to shooting a TV ad, we required stills for the campaign roll out.
What were your biggest challenges?
The timescale and budget for the project required the photography to be shot during filming for the TV ad. We needed someone who could be flexible and work around this, without much scope to set up additional lighting.
The photography was to be used across a wide range of formats and sizes including wide bus adds and taxis. The compositions of the shots would need to account for this.
What was different about Hamish Campbell Studio?
Nothing feels unachievable when working with Hamish. He was involved at every stage of the shoot planning so that, on the day, we got what we needed on time and on brief (no mean feat when the shoot included a child, a dog, and a cat’s film debut appearance).
The studio worked closely with me to make sure the images worked across all ads and they turned around the post-production work quickly.
Hamish doesn’t just deliver the work, he’s always thinking about how the studio can enhance it and add value.
What was the outcome?
As well as helping Teviot to produce a successful campaign, Hamish made it easy to do my job and for the film crew to get on with theirs. Everyone involved has been eager to work with him again.
